Portland Engagement Plan: Design Process Recommendation

Civic Life initiated the Portland Engagement Project in order to create an updated and equitable engagement framework for the City of Portland: the Portland Engagement Plan.

Pregame wrapped up our engagement supporting this work with a report recommending a Design Process based on your feedback and the City’s charter transition timeline.

What’s next?

The updated engagement framework, or Portland Engagement Plan, would be completed in 2024 and implemented over the following year.

As the City establishes its new Organizational Chart and functions, our hope is that a new champion within the City picks up where we left off to make sure your recommendations get transformed into Portland’s new plan for engagement that’s easier, equitable, and more effective.
